Mothers Day
Adventure-Led Sessions
Mother’s Day for mums who’d rather be barefoot with their kids than dressed up for photos
Adventure led sessions at home or outside, think sprinklers, bush tracks, campfire or backyard chaos, so you get photos of the way you actually mother, not everyone lined up saying cheese

WHEN FAMILY PHOTOS FEEL MORE LIKE A JOB
You are not tired of your kids.
You are tired of being the project manager of everyone’s life.
School notes buried in the bottom of the bag. Sport drop offs.
“What is for dinner?”Who needs new shoes.
The mental list that never shuts up.
Family photos feel like another thing to organise.
Outfits.
Location.
Weather.
Behaviour.
House clean.
Smiling on command.
So your brain starts in with the reasons:
“What would we even do?”
“They will not sit still.”
“Our place is not pretty enough.”
“We are always camping or at sport.”
It lands on the “maybe later” pile.
The “when things calm down” pile.
The “next year” list.
Meanwhile, Mother’s Day rolls around again.
Flowers. Breakfast in bed. A mug.
Nice, but not the thing you really want.
What you actually want is to be in it.
In the creek, in the backyard chaos, in the tent, in the story.
With proof you were there.

WHAT IF MOTHER'S DAY FELT LIKE THIS INSTEAD

This is not chaos with a camera.
This is guided, intentional storytelling, built around how your family really does life.
Adventure led, even when we are at home.
You do not need everyone in matching outfits.
You do not need a perfect house.
You do not need your kids to suddenly act like catalogue models.
You need one good afternoon together.

HERE IS HOW IT LOOKS
I come to you, or we meet at your favourite spot.
We choose a couple of simple things your crew already loves,
sprinklers, backyard cricket, creek walking,
marshmallows on the fire, “camping” in the lounge room.
You move. You play. You be mum.
I pay attention to the way they launch themselves at you,
the way they squeeze your shoulders, the way they look back to check you are watching.
I am shaping the light and the frames so it looks beautiful.
You are allowed to just be in it.
It feels like a good afternoon, not a performance.
And for Mother’s Day that means you are not getting another mug.
You are getting proof you were there, mud and all.
THIS IS FOR THE MUM WHO WOULD RATHER..

✔ say “stuff it” to the washing and turn the sprinkler on
✔ pack the car for a campsite than dress everyone up for a studio
✔stay home in the yard, on the deck, in the paddock, and play barefoot with her kids
Your kids are loud and fast and a bit feral in the best way.
They climb, splash, wrestle, run in and out of the house all afternoon.
You do not want stiff or formal.
You do not want “everyone look at the camera and say cheese.”
You want:
✔real hugs
✔real belly laughs
✔real games you actually play together
You want photos that feel like your real life, wild, connected, honest,
still beautiful enough to print, still worth keeping forever.
You are not chasing perfect.
You want proof.
THIS IS PROBABLY NOT FOR YOU IF YOU WANT..
X perfectly posed studio photos
X everyone sitting still, smiling at the camera in every frame
X matching beige outfits in a styled field
X kids lined up on stools being told to behave
It is not for families who see photos as a quick, cheap mini to tick off for the grandparents.
It is for families who live big, messy, outdoorsy lives and want that reflected back at them.
WHAT IS INCLUDED
Pre session chat
We hop on a quick call or voice note chat so I can get to know your family,
your kids’ ages, what they are into, if you are more bush, beach or backyard.
I help you pick one or two simple things to do so you are not lying awake thinking “what would we even do for two hours?”
Two hour adventure led session
This is not rushed.
You have time to warm up and forget about the camera.
We build the session around things your kids already love,
sprinklers, bikes, cubbies, marshmallows, creeks, backyard chaos.
You are not spending the whole time managing behaviour.
You are actually playing.
I keep an eye on the light, the angles, the little in between bits,
so it feels relaxed for you but is still intentional.

HOW IT WORKS
Step 1 - Grab a spot
Lock it in with your $200 session fee. Choose your date later.
There are only 8 Mother’s Day adventure spots so I can give everyone proper attention.
Step 2 - We plan without overthinking
We do a quick consult and choose your location and 1 or 2 activities, creek, beach, backyard, or at home “camping”.
No Pinterest boards. No outfit meltdown. No massive to do list.
Step 3 - You live your afternoon
On the day, I come to you or meet you there.
You move. You play. You are mum.
I guide the light, shape the story, and keep things flowing.
Kids can go full goblin, you do not have to apologise, that is literally the point.
Step 4 - Your story arrives
Your curated gallery lands in your inbox.
You make a cup of tea or pour a drink and look through your afternoon.
Once you have seen it, you pick the collection that feels right for you, whether that is a handful of favourites or the full set with an album.
If you book your session before 23 April, your gallery is ready before Mother’s Day.

“My kids do not sit still and I was sure they would wreck it. Nikki just laughed and rolled with it. The photos look like us on a really good day, grass stains and all.”
“We are a camping family and I never wanted stiff studio photos. Our session felt like a normal arvo by the creek and somehow she turned it into the most beautiful photos we have ever had.”
“I am always the one taking the pictures and I cried seeing myself in the middle of the chaos, actually playing with them. It feels like the proof I was there.”
